flores41 John 2:28-29 – “And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.  If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him.”

Many Christians think of salvation only as a one-time event. They focus on the moment of conversion. This passage focuses on another dimension of salvation: salvation as a process. This process continues for our entire lives, until we reach eternity.

af771 John 1:5-7 – “…This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin…”

God gives us His light by His revelation. He gives us this so that He might prepare a Faithful Church to live in His presence forever. His light is what guides us day by day to this holy and perfect destination.

cloud_heart1 John 3:16 - “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.” 

The title of this post is something many people ask themselves, but it is the wrong question for anyone to ask.  Many people, even Christians, become bitter and absorbed in self-pity because they approach their family this way.  They focus on their family’s failings and shortcomings, the times they have not been loving or supportive like they should be.
