We have churches and groups in about fifteen nations in Africa. Some are existing churches and ministries who have felt led to affiliate with Maranatha, and some are new groups that are just starting. Our strongest presence so far is in Kenya, Burundi, Ghana, Nigeria, and Congo. We also recently did our first pastors' conference in Uganda. We have contacts in about twenty other African countries.

New groups are always starting, and from time to time existing churches or groups of believers decide to affiliate themselves with us.

If you would like information about the churches or groups in a particular area, please write to us at askapastor@maranathacentral.org. We usually answer emails within 48 hours. We can provide the email address of a pastor or responsible for the nearest group, and other contact information.

If you are a member or leader of a group of believers that might like to affiliate with Maranatha, we would love to hear from you. A growing number of groups are expressing interest, and it is a blessing to help sincere believers become integrated into a larger body of people devoted to serving God.

Please do not contact us with mere solicitations of funds. For those who contact us, we provide spiritual support, teachings, ministry training, and the prayers of a large body of believers. Unfortunately, we are not able to give financial grants or donations for charitable works (orphanages, schools, or even church buildings) for all the groups who contact us, but we would love to hear from you about any questions you may have regarding Maranatha's faith or practice.

This is a group of African church leaders who visited Brazil for three weeks in June 2005 to attend conferences and evangelistic events, and to visit numerous local churches and meetings. Leaders from churches or ministries in Burundi, Congo, Kenya, and Rwanda were in the group. Future seminars in Africa are already being planned, as well as follow-up visits of African pastors to our seminars in Brazil.
