“O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years!” - Habakkuk 3:2
Revival is a biblical concept in which the Lord renews the operation of his Holy Spirit in the lives of believers and in the midst of the Body of Christ. Anything the Lord has done in the past, he can also do today. The Lord desires his servants to be revived and refreshed every day- “his mercies are new every morning” (Lamentations 3:23).
“Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best until now.” John 2:10
Jesus gave a great sign at the wedding of Cana: not only did he turn water into wine when they ran out of supplies, but the wine he made at the end of the feast was the best, even better than that at first. Wine is a symbol in the Bible for the Holy Spirit.
